Glee

This is a 3-ply fingering weight base that has approximately 400 yards per 100 grams. It is composed of 90% superwash targhee wool and 10% nylon.

Glee is my thickest fingering weight yarn. It leans more between a fingering weight and a sport weight yarn and is not as soft as the others. It's not next to skin scratchy but it does have some rustic characteristics to it. For my splendid and Serendipity weight bases I normally cast on 64 stitches. For Glee, I cast on 56 stitches using the same size 1 US needle. You may need to experiment with gauge on this base.

This is also a great choice for socks due to the targhee wool and a bit of nylon. This makes for some sturdy socks.
