Build A Box

This is a 4-ply fingering weight base that has approximately 460 yards per 100 grams. It is composed of 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon.

It is the thinnest of my fingering weight bases and is quite soft. This yarn also takes up the dye so well. Of all the bases, this shows the colors the brightest.

This is a great choice for socks due to the nylon content and the 4-ply construction.

This is a 4-ply fingering weight base that has approximately 437 yards per 100 grams. It is composed of 85% superwash merino wool and 15% nylon.

Splendid is my middle of the road fingering weight yarn. It's thicker than Serendipity but thinner than Glee. This yarn is a 19.5 micron merino which means it is the softest of my fingering weight yarns. It's a delight to knit with. It also takes up the dye well, but the colors don't show quite as bright as Serendipity.

This is a great choice for socks due to the nylon content and the 4-ply construction.
